My name is Kevin Dovaston and I take great pleasure in introducing myself as the Labour candidate for the Radbrook Ward in the forthcoming elections.

I am proud to be Shrewsbury born and bred . I studied with  Hotel Management and Business at University College of Birmingham  and spent many years in the hospitality industry both in the UK and the Middle East.

I have had an interest in politics for many years and feel I have the personal qualities including being approachable, gregarious and empathetic, to be an effective communicator.

I would utilise these skills in an effort to ensure the quality of life of all residents is maintained and , hopefully, enhanced. Whether it is a question of broken street lamps, facilities for our younger and elderly residents, green field access or speeding traffic. All are important and I would be happy to stand up for people and give a voice to those who need it.

I am currently working as a free lance researcher  involved in a study being conducted by the Office of National Statistics  into the Covid-19 pandemic, working mainly with Shrewsbury residents.

I would ask for your support in order for me to assist with positive changes in our rapidly changing and developing society .
