I am John Lewis, Labour and Cooperative Party candidate for Rea Valley. I have lived in Shrewsbury since 2002. My career was in further and higher education and I worked as a lecturer in economics and economic geography at various colleges and was Principal at Oldham College.  I have been a parish councillor in Lincolnshire for eight years and was Labour candidate in the 1997 election in South Holland and the deepens constituency (South Lincs).

My main interests are transport, the environment, economic development and post 16 education.
