When residents of Eden Close woke up one morning there was something different about their street. Towering above the nearby tree line was a 16 metre high 5G tower that had been installed over night.

The mast passed planning in September of last year, with no objections having been filled by residents as they weren’t informed of the plan by the Underdale
Councillor. This 5G tower is just one of several that are due to be erected, and high-speed telecommunications plays a vital role in our communities, but
residents need to be notified of potential sites well in advance with other sites taken into serious consideration, especially when there are immediate areas available that are away from housing.
