I love living in Meole, and have done so for over 10 years, since moving here to take up the position of Headteacher at the Corbet School. I retired last year and realised that I now had the time to put the skills that I had acquired to good use serving the community of Meole. The experience of being a Parish Councillor in Staffordshire for 12 years had given me an excellent understanding of how council systems worked and showed me that I could bring about positive change

I am an active member of Shropshire Shufflers and regularly run long distances around Shrewsbury. Many of you may have seen me out running and it is through this that I have experienced first hand the problems with footpaths, traffic and litter in Meole.
