Severn Trent Water should freeze our water bills

Severn Trent Water will increase water bills by a total of 47% over the next five years. Ofwat expects the average bill to increase from £398 in 2024-25 to £583 by 2029-30.

It doesn’t seem right while Shareholders profits are set to rise further still this coming year and the company continues to allow sewage pollution in our river, this bill increase will have a huge impact on residents in Shrewsbury who are already feeling the pinch.
